Thomas Funk of Gainesville has been missing since Oct. 1, 2011, and his family and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office want answers.
The family is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case or the recovery of Funk. That’s an increase from a previously announced reward of $5,000.
Funk, who would be 49, was last seen by his roommate at his Oconee Circle home. When the roommate awoke the next morning, Funk was gone but his cellphone and car were not.
Funk’s foot had been injured in an accident before his disappearance. He is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 155 pounds and with brown hair and blue eyes.
