Work on a road connecting Ga. 13/Atlanta Highway to Ga. 53/Mundy Mill Road at Curt Lance Way could start this month. The Hughes Drive extension could be completed by fall, Oakwood City Manager Stan Brown said. The project costs are $1 million for right of way and $1.4 million for construction.
