Replacement of aging slabs or sections of concrete on part of the Gwinnett County section of Interstate 985 will continue through June. The Georgia Department of Transportation project, which started earlier this month, begins at Interstate 85 and continues north for two miles. Maintenance crews started in the northbound lanes with plans to switch over later to the southbound lanes.Work is being done on the outside or right lane in both directions.
