Work on the Clarks Bridge replacement project probably won’t start in earnest until after the new year. Wet weather has hampered much of the progress this month on the project, which calls for a bridge over Lake Lanier with 12-foot lanes and an 8-foot bike path in each direction. The $8.7 million project also involves construction of a new pedestrian tunnel under Ga. 284.
