A statewide lookout ended around 8 p.m. Thursday for an inmate from Jackson County who escaped from a work crew.


Michael Lillibridge walked away from a work detail Thursday afternoon.


He was captured by the Georgia Department of Corrections fugitive squad.


He was seen driving a white 2000 Ford F-350 with a Jackson County logo and previously spotted leaving in a dump truck at Lamar Murphy Park in Jefferson.


According to the Georgia Department of Corrections database, Lillibridge was serving a sentence for possession of narcotics.
