An individual’s success has a lot to do with passion, hard work and being surrounded by the right kinds of people. Those were the messages shared Wednesday morning at the fourth annual Masters of Innovation ceremony. “These people have done some amazing things that will inspire us and encourage us, and we just don’t want to miss that,” said Gus Whalen, founder of Featherbone Communiversity, which hosts the event sponsored by BB&T. The event is part of the communiversity’s Masters series, which also honors nurses, teachers and craftsmen in separate events.
