Banks County
County Commission, Post 1, Republican: incumbent Rickey Caine 39.6%, Danny Maxwell 35.2%, Sam Moon 25.2%; County Commission, Post 3, Republican: Sammy Reece 58.1%, Keith Segars 41.9%. Caine and Maxwell will face each other in an Aug. 10 runoff. Winners are unopposed in November.

Board of Education, Post 5, Republican: Jason Hensley 35.4%, Shane Roberts 64.6%. Board of Education Post 3 Republican Michael Boyle unopposed in primary; winners are unopposed in November.

Dawson County
County Commission, District 3, Republican: Lionel Graves 25.6%, Jimmy Hamby 54%, Bill Minor 20.4%; winner is unopposed in November, as is District 1 Republican incumbent Gary Pichon, who ran unopposed in the primary.

Board of Education: Both Republican incumbents, District 3 Cecil Bennett and At-Large Will Wade, unopposed in the primary and in November.

Clerk of Court, Republican: Doug Boyle 11.3%, Gaye Cantrell 17%, Phillip Cummings 1.2%, Aimee Philana Goodson 12.4%, Lisa Henson 13.6%, Steve Holder 5.8%, Justin Power 19.4%, Merrill Rackley 4.6%, Eric Brockson Toal 4.5%, Carl Volk 10.2%. Cantrell and Power will meet in Aug. 10 runoff. Winner is unopposed in November.

Habersham County
Board of Education: All Republican candidates unopposed in primary and in November; District 3 incumbent Gilbert Barrett, District 4 Rick Williams and District 5 incumbent Patsy Taylor.

County Commission, District 2, Republican: Andrea Harper 73.4%, Don Higgins 26.6%. Winner is unopposed in November, as is District 3 Republican Chad Henderson, who faced no primary challenger.

Jackson County
County Commission: District 3 Republican incumbent Bruce Yates and District 4 Republican incumbent Dwain Smith unopposed in primary and in November.

Board of Education, Post 5, Republican: Steven Bryant 64.4%, Randall Skelton 35.6%. Post 2 incumbent Republican Tim Brooks and Post 3 Republican Celinda Word Wilson unopposed in primary and in November.

Lumpkin County
County Commission: District 3 Republican Clarence Stowers unopposed in primary and in November. District 4 Republican Clarence Grindle and Democrat Frank Gilkeson unopposed in primary, will meet on November ballot.

Union County
Board of Education, District 5, Democrats: incumbent Julie Barton 52%, Tim L. Helton 48%. Barton is unopposed in November. Board of Education District 2 Democratic incumbent Steve Odom and Republican Roger “Tony” Hunter; and District 4 Democratic incumbent Chris Kelley and Republican John T. Strickland were unopposed in primary and will face off on November ballot.

White County
County Commission, District 1, Republican: Terry Goodger 41.6%, Jerry Nicholson 30.1%, Rebecca Lindsey Yarbrough 28.3%. Goodger and Nicholson will be in Aug. 10 runoff. Winner will face Democrat Bobby L. Adams in November. County Commission, District 3, Republican: Randy T. Ellis 19.3%, Charles Steve Hood Jr. 16.2%, Edwin Nix 58%, David Brian Robinson 6.5%. Nix is unopposed in November. County Commission, District 4, Republican: Wesley Craig Bryant 30%, Terry L. Harris 27%, Chris Nonnemaker 43%. Bryant and Nonnemaker will be in Aug. 10 runoff. Winner is unopposed in November, as is District 2 Republican Jimmy Lyndal Holcomb.

Board of Education, District 2, Republican: Amy Sims Crumley 64.8%, incumbent LeMerle Adams Edwards 35.2%. Crumley is unopposed in November, as is District 4 Republican Barry Lee Vandiver.
