Attorney Susan D. Brown announced Monday that she is running for Hall County probate judge.Brown is the senior attorney with Susan D. Brown and Associates and has been practicing law in Gainesville since 1989. Her practice includes family law, probate and real estate matters, guardianship and custody.In addition, Brown is a registered mediator, arbitrator and parenting coordinator.“I have 23 years of professional experience, training that no other candidate has, and am passionately committed to protecting the rights of children and elders in our community,” Brown said. “In addition, my extensive experience in litigation in all Hall County courts puts me in a unique position to integrate the operations of the probate court with our other courts to reduce overlapping responsibilities and expense.”Probate court handles issues such as guardianship, marriage and estates.
