Drug Take-Back Day in Hall County, held Saturday, netted 58 pounds of unwanted, unused prescription drugs. The event, a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration initiative, aims to collect and properly dispose of the medications to prevent prescription drug abuse. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Gainesville Police Department and Oakwood Police Department participated.
