Authorities have released the name of a Gainesville man killed in a single-vehicle wreck early this morning.

Noe Escobar, 26, died after his SUV left Mountain View Road, struck a stump and flipped multiple times, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

The Georgia State Patrol was notified of the wreck at 4:25 a.m. Escobar had been ejected from his Chevrolet Avalanche. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.

Police do not believe Escobar had been wearing a seat belt.
