The downtown Gainesville farmers market has extended its selling season through mid-November.

The market will move to First Baptist Church to sell on Fridays, said Steve Thomas, manager of the market.

Starting Oct. 19, and running through Nov. 16, vendors will be at 751 Green St. NW, selling their goods from 2:30- 6:30 p.m. or until dark.

Martin said the same vendors from the downtown market will be participating.
