The Georgia Department of Natural Resources made the same number of boating under the influence arrests this holiday period as it did last year, but no one was reported injured from boating incidents. DNR made 10 BUI arrests on Lake Lanier between Saturday and Tuesday, which matched the totals from July 2-4 in 2016. There were, however, only four boating incidents on Lake Lanier this year with no injuries.
