Results from an autopsy on the body of a man found Monday on the Lake Lanier shoreline at Mary Alice Park in Cumming are expected today, authorities said. Park visitors apparently saw the body as they were walking along the beach, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation planned to perform the autopsy Tuesday afternoon, said Doug Rainwater, a spokesman for the agency, while investigators continue to pursue the man’s identity.
