Hall County Sheriff Steve Cronic has been elected as a regional vice president of the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association.

Cronic will represent Region 3, which includes 22 counties plus Hall. There are nine statewide regions included in the organization. Cronic also was appointed as chaplain of the sheriffs’ association.

Cronic is serving his eighth year in office and was unopposed for re-election this year. He will begin his third term in January.
