Road work unfinished, will resume Monday Roadwork on Jesse Jewell Parkway wasn’t finished Thursday as hoped. Georgia Department of Transportation officials now estimate the work to replace and smooth asphalt in Gainesville will continue next week Crews are working eastbound, starting Thursday at Hilton Drive. They’ll continue toward E.E. Butler Parkway, and if weather cooperates, should finish next week after taking Friday off.
