About 40 residents of Cresswind at Lake Lanier have formed a charitable group, Cresswind LL Community Fund, to support charitable, educational and cultural activities in Gainesville and Hall County. The development, which is primarily for adults 55 and older, is off Browns Bridge Road, not far from the intersection with McEver Road. Formed in April, the group is soliciting donations, recruiting members and accepting applications from groups seeking funding.
