The large crane that will be used to assemble the new Georgia Mountains Center parking deck is scheduled to arrive on site today. The crane takes up at least three semi trucks and will be assembled on site. The contractor will try to minimize affects to Main Street, however some traffic delays can be expected.

The look of the project should begin changing rapidly next week as precast elements are assembled. Traffic impacts can be expected throughout the precast delivery period as there will be several large trucks in the area at any given time.
