Hall County Library System Director Adrian Mixson is retiring at the end of May, and a search committee is currently accepting applications to fill his role and hopes to make a recommendation to the library Board of Trustees by mid-June. The last few years were the most challenging for Mixson as he navigated budget cuts while trying to keep library services at a sustainable level. “You don’t understand how hard it’s been to survive the last four years,” he told The Times.
