Hall County government offices will be closed Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday, and again on Tuesday for a mandatory employee furlough day.

Public safety and other vital public works personnel will operate as usual.

All branches of the Hall County Library System will close Monday and Tuesday as well, including library book drops.
All branches will reopen at their normal times Wednesday. For more information, you may call 770-532-3311.

City of Gainesville offices also will be closed Monday for the MLK holiday. As a result, trash pickup schedules will will be altered; those serviced on Mondays will have pickup on Tuesdays, with Tuesday pickup on Wednesdays.

Recycling will operate as usual on the holiday.
