Hall County Coroner Marion Merck identified the man who died Saturday in a workplace accident as Ronald Hart, 37, of Gainesville.

Hart was found dead at Dave’s Goody Barn at 2516 Old Cornelia Highway in what the Hall County Sheriff’s Office determined to be an accident.

Hall County firefighters responded to the scene at 9:47 a.m., finding the man under a shelf full of lumber.

Dave’s Goody Barn will be closed pending the conclusion of an investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, set to begin Tuesday. An autopsy will be conducted today to determine the exact cause of death, Merck said Sunday.
