Residents of Cornelia are under a boil-water advisory after a 10-inch main ruptured Tuesday on Chase Road, according to a news release from the city. The broken main can cause pressure in parts of the water system to drop to dangerously low levels, creating a potential health hazard. The main waterlines were isolated on Chase Road, Fox Hollow, Red Fox Hollow, and Arbor Gate subdivision, the release stated.
