Jennifer Okalova of West Hall High School was awarded a $500 scholarship for excellence in writing by Northeast Georgia Writers. President Randy Caudle presented the certificate to her at the Honors Night Ceremony earlier this month. The scholarship is awarded each year to a graduating senior from a Gainesville or Hall County high school.
