Gainesville Elks Exalted Ruler Calvin Sneed presented a $1,250 scholarship to Jacob Noh at Cross Creek High. Noh won first place in the Elks’ Northeast District scholarship competition.

It was one of four regional first-place scholarships awarded across Georgia.

The annual scholarship incorporates grades and community activities.
