The ninth annual Chamber Chase 5K and 2-Mile Wellness Walk, in association with the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s Health Care Committee and Vision 2030, was held at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville on March 31.

More than 1,500 people participated in the event that promotes company wellness and community fitness.

There were several categories to compete in, and the following are the winners and their respective titles along with time (if applicable):

Fastest Corporate Team: Runner’s Fit

Fastest Community Team: Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club

Fastest CEO: Ryan Kyranakis of Runner’s Fit (18:53)

Fastest Overall Male: Juan Soto of Runner’s Fit (16:36)

Fastest Overall Female: Nadia Davis of Runner’s Fit (19:14)

Team Spirit Award: ProCare RX

The Chamber Chase 2016 also held a T-shirt design contest. The following are the winners and their respective categories:

Most Creative Shirt: ProCare RX

Best Incorporation of Event Logo: Lanier Color Company

Most Creative Use of Company Logo: Anesthesia Associates of Gainesville

People’s Choice Award: Mansfield Oil
