North Georgia Technical College students win Phi Beta Lambda district awards

North Georgia Technical College students from the Blairsville and Clarkesville campuses competed in the Georgia North District Phi Beta Lambda competition at Reinhardt University and brought home awards. Several North Georgia Technical College students from the Blairsville and Clarkesville campuses recently competed in the Georgia North District Phi Beta Lambda competition at Reinhardt University and brought home awards.

Susie Berry of Cleveland won first place overall as the Future Business Executive, as well as fifth place in Job Interview. Domonique Leach of Savannah placed second in Future Business Teacher, and Daniell Hill of Clayton won first place in both Financial Analysis & Decision Making and Financial Services. Savannah Swing of Cleveland received second place in Management Concepts and fourth place in Retail Management.

NGTC also competed in Battle of the Chapters at the event, and the Clarkesville campus chapter won first place while the Blairsville campus brought home second place.

The students will represent NGTC as they travel to Atlanta in April to compete at the state level.

Phi Beta Lambda is the post-secondary level of Future Business Leaders of America and is open to any college student.
