NGTC alumni honored for contributions as professionals

North Georgia Technical College recently handed out its alumni awards.

Emily Sullens, Ethan Lord and Brittaney Dyer all earned the Young Alumni Award, which “recognizes deserving alumni who have distinguished themselves in their field of study and have made outstanding contributions in their chosen profession,” according to A NGTC press release.

Thomas Cochran and Kelly Jones received Career Achievement Awards.

Morris Harrison and Bob McCoy received the Hall of Fame Award, which was a posthumous honor for McCoy. The award “is bestowed on deserving alumni who graduated from North Georgia Tech at least 20 years prior to nomination,” according to the release.

Lewis Kelley took home the Bridge Builder Award, which “recognizes individuals who tirelessly commit themselves and their organizations to the goal of bridging education and skills to workplace environments,” according to the release.
