Peyton Wilhoite has joined the staff of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce as Chamber project manager for economic development and government affairs.

A Gainesville-native and North Hall High School graduate, Wilhoite attended Ole Miss on a track and field scholarship before transferring to the University of Georgia, where he received an advertising degree from the Grady College of Journalism. He previously worked at The Buntin Group, an advertising agency in Nashville, Tenn.

In his new position, Wilhoite is responsible for economic development marketing initiatives that further job investment growth from existing and new business, while addressing issues that affect business and the community. He also works with Chamber committees and programs involving government affairs.
