Steven Pettit has been promoted to assistant vice president of Peach State Bank & Trust.

Pettit began his career at Peach State in 2006 directly out of college, where he graduated from Liberty University with a degree in religion and business.

He started in the customer service department as a teller and has been working in the accounting area since 2011. He completed his ACH certification in the fall of 2013, and he has earned a banking and finance diploma from the American Institute of Banking.

He graduated from the Georgia Banking School in 2016. Pettit is chairman of the bank’s Youth Development Board.
