Northeast Georgia Health System has welcomed two new leaders to the organization.
Tad Gomez recently joined NGHS as vice president of professional and support services.
Gomez joins the Health System from Augusta University Medical Center, where he also served as vice president of professional services and was responsible for operational management of seven departments. Gomez received his master’s degree from Ohio State University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.
Kevin Phelps has also joined NGHS as the new executive director of supply chain. Phelps’ role is a new position that oversees logistics and sourcing. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Georgia. He served in several leadership positions with Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.
