Zone Home Solutions picked as Bulldog 100

Buford-based Zone Home Solutions was named to the 2016 Bulldog 100 for the second year in a row and third overall.

The list 100 recognizes the 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or operated by University of Georgia alumni. Companies are ranked based on compounded annual growth rate over the previous three years with verifiable revenues of $100,000 or more for the calendar year 2012.

The company’s home services include pest control, heating and air, roofing, mold mitigation and more. Zone Home Solutions, which has offices in Buford, Atlanta and Marietta, ranked No. 31 in the 2015 rankings and will learn its 2016 ranking Jan. 30 at the 2016 Bulldog 100 Celebration in Atlanta.

Zone Home Solutions is owned by UGA graduate Trey Scarborough and Greg Holley. Founded in 1996, the company has expanded to serve metro Atlanta and much of the North Georgia area.

Hussain joins Center for Pediatrics at Longstreet

Dr. Saima Hussain has joined the Center for Pediatrics at The Longstreet Clinic.

The practice’s new physician earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatrics residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital in South Carolina. Hussain is also a graduate of Duke University.

Hussain has several years of practice in the Atlanta area and has a special interest in treating patients with asthma and obesity issues.

Before joining The Longstreet Clinic, Hussain practiced at Children’s Medical of Rockdale and Wellstar emergency in Cobb, Kennestone and Douglas. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
