H. Cooper Embry has joined Chattahoochee Bank of Georgia as senior vice president in commercial banking.

Formerly with The National Bank of Georgia, Embry has more than 25 years of experience in the local banking market.

“Not only is Cooper well-known in the Gainesville business community, he is just as well-respected”, said Jody Lail, Chattahoochee Bank president and CEO, in a news release. “We are very excited to add another quality commercial banker to our existing team of knowledgeable and experienced bankers.” 

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Embry serves as president of the Gainesville Athletic Club and vice chairman of the Gainesville Parks and Recreation Board, and he is on the board of the Gainesville and Hall County Development Authority.
