Julia Holmes places first at Plein Air Cleveland artist Julia Holmes won the top prize at the Plein Air “Paint Out” event hosted by the Northeast Georgia Plein Air Painters based at Helen Arts & Heritage Center. Holmes collected the honor for her plein air painting of the Chattahoochee River. She captured the essence of the river’s rushing water and the surrounding landscape.
