Hall students win awards at health care conference

Students from Chestatee, East Hall, Flowery Branch, Johnson and West Hall high schools recently competed at the State HOSA Conference for future health professionals in Atlanta.

The following students placed in the top three in their competitions:

Students who have completed at least 100 hours of community service and received the Barbara James Service Award include:

The Georgia HOSA Academic Scholarship for $600 went to West Hall High School’s Emma Miller.

Students who placed in the top three or received HOSA Chapter Reflections, Barbara James Service Award or National Service Project are eligible to compete at the national conference in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the last week of June.
