Gainesville students place at Modern Language Day

Gainesville High School had multiple students earn top-three finishes at Modern Language Day at the University of North Georgia’s Dahlonega campus in April.

Earning top-three finishes were:

• Song in Chinese: Alyssa Williams, 1st place, performing arts

• Art in Chinese: Stephanie Co, 1st place

• Skit in Latin: Quinn Stanley, Daniela Olalde, Ana Cisneros, Ingrid Islas, 3rd place

• Art in Spanish: Hesler Cardenas, 3rd place
