Gainesville Methodist church a top contributor to foster care organization

Gainesville First United Methodist Church donated $17,350 to the United Methodist Children’s Home in 2015, making the church No. 7 in financial contributions to the organization. “This donation will make a huge difference in our foster care program, which helps to restore children and families from trauma through Jesus Christ,” said the Rev. Brett DeHart, director of church and community relations with the United Methodist Children’s Home.
