The Gainesville High School math team took second place overall in a competition at the University of North Georgia. The competition had individual quizzes, group problem solving, math games and ciphering sections in it. Team members were Pratyusha Karnati, Anna Diaz, Vraj Patel, Michelle Razo, Umer Khan, Spencer Sumner and Guillermo Beltran.
