The Gainesville High School band took second place overall and won best overall drum majors at the West Forsyth High School Wolverine Classic on Sept. 24. Daniela Olalde, Sara Azpeitia and Paola Avila are Gainesville’s drum majors. Gainesville’s band competed against 12 others and finished behind Milton High School in the overall competition.
