Boy Scout Troop 135 of Flowery Branch spent a recent Saturday morning helping the South Hall Community Food Pantry prepare for an extra day of serving residents. The pantry, located at 4211 Walnut St. in Oakwood, is now open from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in an effort to make it easier for people who work to top by and pick up food. The pantry is also open from 3-5 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. to noon on Thursdays and Saturdays.
