U.S. Army Reserve Pvt. David I. Camargo has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, S.C. 

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition, core values and physical fitness. He also received instruction and practice in various military skills. Camargo is the son of Martha M. Perez and brother of Noe Camargo of Gainesville. He is a 2015 graduate of Gainesville High School.
