Chestatee High student group raises $2K for cancer research

Chestatee High School Health Occupation Students of America hosted Pennies for Pasta and raised $2,017.

Chestatee High School Health Occupation Students of America hosted Pennies for Pasta, a fundraiser to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A total of $2,017 was raised.

The class that raised the most funds would be treated to a catered lunch provided by Olive Garden in Gainesville.

The fundraiser was organized by students pursuing a career in health care for their National Service Project Campaign.

Chestatee HOSA was recognized at the Georgia HOSA Leadership Conference for the project on March 1.
