Area veterans of the Vietnam War honored

On April 18, Georgia Commissioner of Veterans Services Mike Roby, State Sen. Butch Miller, representatives of U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson’s office and U.S. Representatives Doug Collins’ office honored 74 veterans at Cresswind at Lake Lanier for their service during the Vietnam War era. Each veteran received a Certificate of Honor from the State of Georgia and a Commemorative Medal from the United States Department of Defense. The Cresswinds Veterans Club hosted the event and the Cresswind Community Chorus provided the music.
