Commerce man killed in Friday morning wreck

A Commerce man died following a two-car wreck Friday morning near the intersection of Shirley and Mount Vernon roads in North Hall, according to Sgt. G.R. Harper with Georgia State Patrol.

Randolph Taylor Evans, 70, allegedly pulled onto Mount Vernon Road into the path of another vehicle, according to Harper.

The wreck occurred just before 8 a.m. Harper said Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident.

The other driver said he was not injured, Harper said.
