For the first time since the fall, Clermont is about to have a full Town Council. The North Hall County town is poised to swear in two new members — Margaret Merritt and Doug Myers — during the council’s March 8 meeting. An election had been set for Tuesday, but, as lone candidates qualifying in January for two separate seats, Merritt automatically will take over an at-large seat and Myers will replace Ward 2 Councilman John Brady, whose term ended Dec. 31.
