A businessman got the Clermont Town Council’s initial blessing Tuesday night to leave the North Hall town’s boundaries. After a discussion that hit on alcohol sales and property rights issues, the council voted 3-2 to allow Chris Nonnemaker to withdraw his 6-acre tract off U.S. 129/Cleveland Highway into unincorporated Hall County. The property features a Papa’s Pizza To-Go restaurant.
