A citizen journalist from Roswell filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday against three Dawson County law enforcement officers, claiming her constitutional rights were violated at a 2014 political event. Surrounded by attorneys in the Hall County Courthouse’s Kenyon Plaza, Nydia Tisdale announced the action filed at the federal courthouse across the street. Tisdale was arrested Aug. 23, 2014, at Burt’s Farm in Dawsonville, where Georgia GOP officials were holding a public campaign event.
