Children in stable condition after Gainesville car accident
Two adults also injured
A youngster is treated by Gainesville Fire Department personnel Thursday afternoon following a two-car collision on Pearl Nix Parkway. All of the children involved are in stable condition.

Seven people were involved in a two-vehicle accident on Pearl Nix Parkway this afternoon, but all are stable and have been transported for nonemergency treatment, said Gainesville Fire Department public information officer Keith Smith.

The Gainesville fire department and Hall County emergency medical services responded to the scene around 4 p.m. today on Pearl Nix Parkway near the Captain D’s restaurant. One woman, one man and two children were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for nonemergency treatment, Smith wrote in a statement.

“There were three additional minors transported to be checked out,” Smith wrote.

Responders closed Pearl Nix Parkway to transport the victims. The road is open again.

None of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries.
