A 3-year-old boy died Sunday after being struck by his father's vehicle in a North Forsyth neighborhood, authorities said.
According to a Forsyth County Sheriff's report, authorities responded about 4:30 p.m. to reports that a child had been run over by a vehicle at a home on Hampton Rock Lane.
The report shows that the child's father and brother were cleaning the interior of a 2010 Dodge Challenger when it was apparently knocked out of gear.
The vehicle rolled down the driveway and over the toddler, according to the report.
