Chestatee High School Principal Chip Underwood announced to his faculty and staff Friday that he is resigning his post to accept a central office position with the Walton County School System in Monroe. Superintendent Will Schofield said in a news release he would recommend Suzanne Jarrard, principal at Chestatee Academy of Inquiry and Talent Development middle school, to replace Underwood before the Hall County Board of Education. “Suzanne Jarrard has been a part of the Chestatee family for over a decade and has all of the necessary skills to take the War Eagles to the next level,” Schofield said in the news release.
