Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites has given its OK to a new chapter representing Don Carter State Park in North Hall County. “We are thrilled that the state board accepted and approved our application,” said Will Hicks, president of Friends of Don Carter State Park. “Our job now is to help raise awareness of the park in our community and work with (Don Carter Park) Ranger Will Wagner at the park to help in any way we can.”
