More than 60 vendors will be featured Feb. 16 at the business expo put on annually by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.
“We’re really just thrilled,” said Kit Dunlap, president and CEO of the chamber. “We just hope it’s a pretty day.”
The expo at the Gainesville Civic Center, 830 Green St., in Gainesville will showcase different businesses, including attorneys, boutiques, farms, car dealerships and The Times.
“It’s all sold out. People still want in,” Dunlap said of the vendors.
The event will include a new luncheon this year featuring keynote speaker Derrick Case, founder of Dress Up boutiques.
“(Case) is going to talk about small businesses and all their stores,” Dunlap said.
The luncheon will be noon to 1 p.m. It will cost $15 for chamber members and $25 for nonmembers. Registration is required. Those interested should contact Mandy Lathem, vice president of membership and events, at 770-532-6206, ext. 115 or email@example.com.
The expo follows from 1-6 p.m.
The event will wrap up with an after hours Taste of Gainesville at 4 p.m. for an extra $5. About 10 restaurants are participating.
